Retirement
Dr. Corinne Phillips-Ward retires after almost 28 years of practice at McCook Clinic. Dr. Phillips-Ward came to McCook Clinic in 1994 after completing her Family Medicine Residency program at UNMC as well as a one-year fellowship in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Phillips-Ward has always had a passion for women's health and played a leading role in the delivery of countless babies during her career. In fact, she was the first female M.D. to join McCook Clinic!
As she transitioned her practice through the years, she watched those babies grow up and, for many, remained their health care provider into adulthood. Some of her patients have been with her throughout her entire career at McCook Clinic and that is most assuredly a testament to the care she provided as well as to her character.
Dr. Phillips-Ward has been an invaluable member of the McCook Clinic staff as well as to the Community she has served faithfully for so many years. She plans to spend her free time traveling and, of course, avidly supporting her beloved Huskers! GBR!
new doctor joins practice
Dr. Hope Ferguson has joined McCook Clinic and began seeing patients in August. She is originally from the east coast and graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with her medical degree. She then completed her Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Wyoming in Cheyenne. Dr. Ferguson comes to us with a desire to practice family medicine in a rural area. Her practice will include all ages as well as obstetrics. She is currently taking appointments and is very excited to become part of our community.
